Mr & Mrs Floyd

Lets back track a little and thank my Goldendoodle, Lola, for connecting Emily & I together. That’s how Emily found me, through Lola’s social media. Which makes my heart so so happy. Right off the bat, we had lots in common, our doodles! Hehe. How Emily met David is also right out of a fairytale. If you’re familiar with the Atlanta area then you may have heard of the Beltline, a long trail that winds and weaves and connects throughout the city. Emily was walking her doodle, Kilroy, one afternoon and David happen to stop them both to pet Kilroy who is one of the cutest doodles I have ever met. (I would have stopped too!) They both started chatting and realized they had a lot in common, so David asked her to dinner. HOW CUTE?! This is why Kilroy was such a big part of their engagement session and wedding day. It was because of HIM! Ahhh! If you know me then you know I had chills down my entire body when she shared their love story.

But now to Mr & Mrs Floyd… I don’t even know where to begin with these two lovers and their doodle, Kilroy. First, I have to say THANK YOU, Emily & David, it was truly an honor documenting y’all during this amazing season in your lives. It’s a wedding I will NEVER forget. There were so many laughs, tears, and excitement throughout the entire wedding day (Yes, I cried). Family & friends traveled from all over to witness them say I do at the beautiful Dunaway Gardens right outside of Atlanta. Emily’s father was their efficient which made it even more special. I can’t describe the kindness these two have. They made it feel like I had known them for years. We had so many laughs; they were truly a dream client of mine, and now dear friends.

Emily & David, I am so beyond happy for you two. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for asking me to photograph your engagement & wedding. So much love to you both and a big congrats to the new DR. Emily Floyd! YAY!
