ATLANTA SINGER – SARAH MILES
Look who is back on the blog!! The crazy talented Sarah Miles! Last year I had the honor of photographing her for the first time and WOW! She is simply AMAZING. I feel like a total fan girl. (but I am!) My dear friend just recently filmed her music video for "Heartbeat" that has been on Sirius XM - The Pulse which if you haven't check it out you should!
Here is a little bio about her!
Sarah is an Atlanta-based country, singer-songwriter who has garnered comparisons to a broad array of artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, and Colbie Caillat. She has gorgeously flowing dynamics as a singer, capable of euphoric skyward melodies and intimately fragile phrasing. Her songwriting is empowering, authentic, and stylistically touches upon country and pop. It’s an infectious blend of accessible song-craft and bold emotional candor. “I like to write songs that are relatable to everyone,” Sarah says of the warm intimacy inherent in her songwriting.
Sarah's song, "STAY", won a grand prize award from the John Lennon Songwriting Organization in 2017, and her song, "Something About You" won numerous songwriting awards in Nashville and was featured on NBC's The Voice. Sarah has toured or opened for acclaimed singer-songwriters such as Rachel Platten, Sister Hazel, Teddy Geiger, Tony Lucca, and Ingram Hill. She has performed in the New York Songwriter's Circle and at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and has recently released 2 singles, "Stay", and "Heartbeat", both of which received radio play. (XM Sirius The Pulse and 94.9 The Bull in Atlanta.) Sarah's song, "Addictive" was produced by Chris Gelbuda (Meghan Trainor) in Nashville. You can hear Sarah's vocals on TBS's new show, Angie Tribeca.
Enjoy some of my favorites from her sunrise city session the other day! If you want to see her last session click HERE.
